Important Senate Members to Contact

If and when the relevant House Committees pass any bill(s), the Senate will get involved, starting with the Committees listed below. In previous years, the Senate took a "wait and see" attitude, prefering to watch how the bills fared in the House first. It's reasonable that they will do the same this year.

The Senate has its own home page with lots of good links. A complete list of Senate Member's Email Addresses is available on the Web, as is a lot of personal info on individual Senators. The Senate, and hence the committee chairs, are still under DFL control.

Health and Family Security Committee

The Health and Family Security Committee has a home page containing links to such important info, such as committee memberships, meeting schedules and agenda, bills introduced, etc. Committee offices are at CAP 328, 651-296-1323. Meeting room is CAP-15 (under the rotunda). Meetings are held on Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:00-3:45PM.
