These instructions will help you download the Windows Media Player. For other information about Microsoft's Windows' Technologies, consult the site's home page. For the free Player, go to the Product Download Page.

Click on the download now button.

You will probably see: "In the Save As dialog box, choose the location to which you'd like to save the file." You may want it to go into your C drive and put it into your Program Files. You may also see, "In the File Download dialog box, select Run this program from its current location."

Click either Save or click OK to continue.

The download begins.

When the security warning appears, click Yes to continue installing. The program will then present you with an End User License Agreement. After you read it, you can click Yes if you agree to comply with Microsoft's policy.

After installing the initial program files, specify your Internet connection speed. Choose between 14.4K, 19.2K, 28.8K, 56KModem/ISDN, 112K Modem/Dual-ISDN, T1/Lan, or Unknown/Other. If you do not know your connection speed.

Click OK.

After you've downloaded the Windows Media Player you'll be able to click on some of the audio links and listen in style.
