Artwork of Sandra Menefee-Taylor

My concerns are:
- to make connections and relationships of ideas such as medicine and agriculture and arts.
If we do that, what new information will there be for us as a culture to work with?
My projects have shown me how closely connected are the roles and problems of
artists, physicians, and farmers.
- providing beauty to difficult situations. Can the artist step in and work with issues such as
death and find new understanding for others.

"Expressing the unspoken is part of the healing process. We invite you to write a brief message.
It should express a thought or feeling never said to someone important to you
and whom you have lost either through death or estrangement. After writing a few words,
cast your paper into the water. Your note will dissolve, and your message will be relayed metaphorically
to the person you addressed. By performing this act, you give others the courage to also participate."
